Tattooed Poetry
Create an outcome from an unpublished piece of writing.
RESOLUTION:
A publication showcasing four poems; each one turned into an illustration and tattooed onto skin.

Titles for each poem are printed onto clear acetate, sitting above a layer with the poem, which itself then lifts to show photographs of the final tattoos on skin.

The individual pieces are then collated into a belly band, the seam of which matches the silver binding of the publications. It outlines the poetrys’ author, the tattoo artist, and the canvases.
